With high-reflective "Emergency Communication" markings, the pillar is easily visible even in poor weather. At the push of the red emergency button, hikers hear an instant dial tone. Through its 10W loudspeaker, calls are directly connected to the Sanzhoutian Forest Duty Office or Meisha Police Station, enabling a seamless "distress call – dispatch – response" process.
