In March 2022, J&R Technology supplied 4G Solar-Powered Emergency Telephone System for a highway bridge project in the United Kingdom. The project was carried out in cooperation with Samaritans, a well-known UK charity dedicated to providing emotional support and suicide prevention services. To address the challenges of limited power supply, difficult cable installation, and long-term outdoor operation, J&R provided a complete emergency communication solution consisting of the JR101-1B-4G Industrial 4G Emergency Telephone and the JR-TP-04 Solar-Powered Telephone Pillar.
   
The JR101-1B-4G operates over the 4G cellular network, eliminating the need for wired communication infrastructure. It features one-touch emergency calling, remote configuration, remote monitoring, and automatic dialing, allowing centralized management and simplified maintenance. Built with a rugged die-cast aluminum housing, the telephone offers IP66/IP67 weather protection, IK10 impact resistance, advanced noise reduction technology, and reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +65°C, making it ideal for demanding outdoor environments such as bridges, highways, tunnels, and other public infrastructure.
  
The JR-TP-04 Solar-Powered Telephone Pillar integrates a high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panel and rechargeable battery system, providing continuous power without requiring access to the electrical grid. Its heavy-duty steel construction and corrosion-resistant design ensure long-term durability while significantly reducing installation complexity and infrastructure costs. The solution is especially suitable for remote outdoor locations where conventional power and communication cabling are impractical.
